We use Google Analytics to understand where our surfers come from, what kind of device they use and what pages interest them. Pretty sure that leaves a cookie on your computer if you allow it. We have no idea if Google sells your data, but assume they will somehow make big bucks from it.
What we do know is Coho Web Design LLC does not and will not sell your personal data.
Nope - we can’t see your street address. In fact, in this age of VPN’s we’re lucky if location data is in the right state or country. We can see what type of device, browser type and screen size you are using. We can sometimes see the general region where you’re located - or where you’d like us to think you are. Our forms capture your IP address - primarily so we can block bad actors that might try to do nefarious things with our servers.
We might use Google Adsense to help defray some of our operating costs. Don’t yet know what that means in terms of cookies. No doubt there will be some. Stay tuned, and be aware that we don’t know privacy and cookie implications yet. Same is true for other ad providers that might choose.
